DESCRIPTION:DEFACTO will hold its final conference to present its results, milestones, lessons learned and conclusions after four years of execution\nDEFACTO (Battery DEsign and manuFACTuring Optimization through multiphysic modelling) will hold its final conference to present its results, milestones, lessons learned and conclusions after four years of research and development in the framework of li-ion cell materials and transport modelling.\nOn November 30th, 2023 from 09:00 to 14:00 (CET), the consortium experts involved in the execution of DEFACTO will explain the different technical phases such as battery modelling, sensitivity analysis and optimisation; characterization experiments; and, prototyping and industrial manufacturing. The main impacts behind the initiative include decreasing the development time and cost for battery cells, reducing the number of experiments for cell design and manufacturing as well as extending the battery lifetime and reducing environmental impacts caused per battery produced.\nThe event will be organised in the coordinator entity city, Donostia-San Sebastián in the Tres Reyes Hotel. Registration is free and open to anyone who wants to learn about the latest results and solutions in the cell manufacturing industry.\nThe ambition of DEFACTO has been to turbocharge the development of next-generation lithium-ion batteries for the automotive market with a comprehensive open-source modelling tool.
