AI enters the art world: Guggenheim and Euskaltel competition

Bizkaia, News

Proposals can be submitted at argia.guggenheim-bilbao.eus until 30 September

The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and the Euskaltel Foundation have launched the competition “AI: Imagine the Future‘ competition, which, under the theme ’Connections that inspire: art and technology for a more humane future,” invites participants to reflect on how innovation in telecommunications and art can represent values such as closeness, local identity, and sustainability through images generated by Artificial Intelligence (AI) on a platform developed specifically for this competition. The deadline for submitting proposals is 30 September (maximum 1,000 participants). The winners will be announced on 8 October at an event that will include a forum for reflection and debate on AI, with the participation of professionals from various fields, both artistic and technological.

Conceived as a result of the shared goal of the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao and the Euskaltel Foundation to promote innovation and creativity, this competition invites users to explore how new tools can expand visual language and generate new questions, in this case about museums and technology.
