The Basque Country Technology Park reinforces its international profile at the IASP World Conference in Beijing

The Basque Country Technology Park took part in the 42nd World Conference of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP), held in Beijing from 17 to 19 September, a meeting that brought together the main international players in the field of innovation, digitalisation and industrial transformation.

Led by the Spanish Association of Science and Technology Parks (APTE), the national delegation highlighted the dynamism and international reach of Spanish parks. Within this framework, the Basque Country Technology Park presented the evolution of its multi-campus model, highlighting the incorporation of the new Bilbao Campus as an example of urban transformation and the promotion of industry through innovation.

Parke’s contribution reflected the Basque ecosystem’s capacity to lead change processes that integrate sustainability, digitalisation and business competitiveness, consolidating its position as a benchmark in Europe.

The joint presence of APTE and the various Spanish parks has made it possible to share the vision and experience of the entire national ecosystem, reinforcing the role of these spaces as drivers of economic development, attracting talent and creating new opportunities for international collaboration.
