AR Racking strengthens its commitment to AI by joining BAIC
AR Racking reinforces its innovative strategy within the Basque Artificial Intelligence ecosystem
The BAIC, created in 2021, now has 37 entities driving industrial digitalisation
AR Racking, a specialist in industrial storage solutions, has joined the Basque Artificial Intelligence Centre (BAIC), consolidating its commitment to innovation and digitalisation in the logistics sector. This membership is part of a shared strategy with Grupo Arania —AR Racking’s industrial parent company— which also includes ARANIA and AR Shelving. Aratubo has been part of the BAIC since 2022.
The BAIC, founded by the Basque Government and 17 entities in 2021, has become the main collaborative hub for accelerating the real implementation of artificial intelligence in Basque industry. Today, it has 37 organisations that share knowledge, develop use cases and attract specialised talent.
For AR Racking, being part of this ecosystem is a decisive step towards integrating technologies such as advanced analytics and predictive maintenance into its storage systems, with the aim of raising the standards of efficiency and operational safety in its projects globally.
Participation in key BAIC initiatives — such as the AppIAI congress, Dataton Euskadi, the IkasIA training programme and the BAIChallenge — will enable AR Racking to be at the forefront of the sector’s digital transformation, thus reinforcing its value proposition as a technological and strategic partner.
With this alliance, AR Racking consolidates its commitment to open innovation and a more competitive, efficient and sustainable Industry 4.0, in line with BAIC’s vision of making the Basque Country a European benchmark in applied artificial intelligence.
