Ayesa Digital is driving forward new technological solutions to improve data interoperability and traceability within the industry
It is participating in the BUHO project, funded by the CDTI with a budget of around €5 million
Ayesa Digital is participating in the BUHO project (Interoperable, Traceable and Secure Platform for the Dynamic Synchronisation of the Industrial Supply Chain), a strategic initiative aimed at developing solutions based on data spaces to improve the interoperability, traceability and optimisation of industrial supply chains.
The initiative arises in a context where interconnection and the secure sharing of data have become a key factor in strengthening the competitiveness, efficiency and sustainability of the industrial fabric. Data spaces constitute one of the fundamental pillars of the European Data Strategy, as they facilitate the exchange of information within industrial ecosystems whilst guaranteeing data sovereignty, regulatory compliance and trust among participants.
In the industrial sector, this approach is particularly relevant for overcoming structural challenges such as system fragmentation, a lack of interoperability and limited traceability among the various actors in the supply chain – a problem that particularly affects highly fragmented industrial environments.
BUHO will address the entire data journey throughout its value chain. The project builds on the information already generated by existing digitalisation technologies within companies and works on structuring it to facilitate its secure sharing in federated ecosystems, aligned with European standards such as IDSA and GAIA-X.
This data will be integrated into traceability and digital passport platforms, providing context and multiplying its value in areas such as sustainability, quality and regulatory compliance.
