The technology consultancy firm will also promote innovation in data analytics and the exploitation of health-related information.

The Ministry of Health has awarded Ayesa the integration services of the Autonomous Communities in their health information systems, through the Central Node of the Health Intranet, as well as the associated support so that all incidents that may arise during the process are resolved. In addition, the technology consultancy also participates in the certification process of the Autonomous Regions to ensure the correct unification of the platforms.

In the report justifying the tender, which amounts to a total value of 405,369.36 euros, the importance of developing public technological services for, among other aspects, reinforcing the electronic interoperability of clinical and health information ‘both nationally and internationally’, as well as ‘innovation in data analysis and the exploitation of health-related information’ is emphasised.

‘Within this framework of promoting the use of information technologies and interoperability between the different actors that form part of the National Health System (NHS), there is a need for sufficient resources to be able to provide an agile and quality service to facilitate the integration of all the Autonomous Regions that wish to interoperate with any health information system, whether new or existing,’ the Ministry of Health states.

This integration, it adds, must go through ‘a certification process’ in order to ‘guarantee that the service will not suffer any impact as more Autonomous Regions join’.

The service model is based on service level agreements (SLAs), and Ayesa will have to respond to the different needs that arise during the contract period.
