Ayesa launches a pioneering division in the protection of risks arising from AI

Gipuzkoa, News

This area will be crucial for organisations in the coming years due to the increase and sophistication of cyber attacks

Ayesa will launch a new division specialising in security and risk management derived from Artificial Intelligence (AI) at its Security Operations Centre (SOC) on the Donostia Campus of the Euskadi Technology Park. This is a pioneering initiative that responds to the growing need to protect AI models being deployed in all kinds of sectors from cyber attacks.

The expansion of this disruptive technology is rapidly transforming areas as diverse as banking, healthcare, energy and public administration. However, along with its opportunities, new risks are also emerging, such as adversarial attacks, manipulation of datasets and leaks of sensitive information, which can compromise the security of organisations and users.

With the new AI Security & Risk Management division, Ayesa aims to anticipate these challenges and offer comprehensive solutions that combine advanced technology, emerging regulatory frameworks and ethical and technical audit methodologies. The company will focus on three strategic areas:

Cybersecurity in AI: development of defence systems against attacks that attempt to manipulate models or their results.
Data governance and regulatory compliance: tools to ensure that models are trained and operated in reliable, transparent and auditable environments.
Prevention of information leaks and bias: methodologies to mitigate risks arising from the misuse of data or unfair automated decisions.
