The Basque Country Technology Park is strengthening its commitment to community building and promoting healthy habits with a new phase of BeParke KLUBA, its programme of sporting, cultural and leisure activities. With a more open and participatory approach, the revamped project seeks to better adapt to the needs of the people and companies that form part of the Technology Park ecosystem.

Starting this year, BeParke KLUBA will be completely free, facilitating access to all its initiatives: exclusive content, discounts on activities, prize draws and use of the programme’s mobile app. One of the main new features is the elimination of the membership requirement, which until now was necessary to participate.

Among the new formats, the creation of the Business League stands out, a competition designed to strengthen coexistence, teamwork and networking among professionals and companies in the Technology Park. The tournament will include different sports and activities, offering a space to build relationships in a healthy and relaxed environment.

Alongside this initiative, the KLUBA Friend membership is also being introduced, a simple way to join the community without fees or commitments. Those who register as KLUBA Friends will enjoy discounts, prize draws, news and full access to the BeParke KLUBA app.

An autumn full of activity

The programme kicks off in November with an agenda full of activities for all tastes and levels: padel, 7-a-side football and 3×3 basketball tournaments, CrossFit sessions, themed escape rooms, among others. The aim is to encourage participation, well-being and community spirit among those who make up the Technology Park.

Companies can sign up for any of the activities, provided that at least 50% of the teams are made up of their own staff. If this number is not reached, friends or family members can join in. In addition, a pool of participants will be set up for those who work in companies without a team, so that the organisation can facilitate the creation of mixed groups.

With this new phase, BeParke KLUBA is consolidating its position as a key tool for promoting health, collaboration and connection between the people and organisations that make up the Basque Country Technology Park.
