Call for entries for the Gladys 2025 Award is open
The award is aimed at young women up to 40 years of age, taking into account their career and future projection. The candidature may be submitted by the candidate or by a third party. The candidature must be submitted by filling in the corresponding form on the website before 1 June.
The 5th edition of the Gladys Award for women technologists is already underway. For this reason, the organisation invites you to submit the candidatures of women you have in your structures or in your environment.
This award promotes the incorporation of women in the technological field, increases their presence, recognises the fundamental role of women working in the digital environment and, in short, promotes participation with equal criteria in the construction of the digital society with the following objectives:
- To recognise the fundamental role of women in the professional, business and academic world in the digital environment.
- To reward the career developed by women and to promote the projection of women of reference.
- To offer role models to girls and teenagers who in the future may question their orientation towards STEAM disciplines.
The Gladys Prize is organised by the Faculty of Computer Science of the UPV/EHU and the PUNTUEUS Foundation, with the support of the Body for Equality of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa and with the support of Danobatgroup, Emakunde, the Euskaltel Foundation and EITB.
The winner will receive a prize of 4,000 euros.
