Campus Donostia to host the National Congress on Advanced Manufacturing and Machine Tools

From 29 to 31 October 2025, the Donostia Campus of the Euskadi Technology Park will host the 29th edition of the National Congress on Advanced Manufacturing and Machine Tools, the main technological event in Spain in the field of advanced and digital industry.

On this occasion, the event will offer more than a hundred presentations distributed across a four-part programme that will address informative, scientific, security and cybersecurity issues.

The congress will offer a comprehensive overview of the factory of the future, disruptive technologies, robotics and automation, additive manufacturing, talent management, industrial sustainability and security in smart environments, among other key topics.

As a new feature, this year a specific cybersecurity conference will be held in parallel, providing an opportunity to learn about the latest trends and challenges in this field.

The programme will feature the participation of leading companies such as Telefónica, Siemens, Nicolás Correa, Aernnova, Fagor Automation, Danobatgroup, Airbus, Indra, SAPA and Tecnalia, among many others. There will also be renowned speakers, including Marc Vidal, lecturer and consultant on digital transformation, who will open the event with a presentation on the immediate challenges facing the industry and the people who drive it.

Other notable speakers will include Genís Roca, specialist in digital culture; Raül Blanco, executive director of Strategy at SAPA; Nerea Urcola, consultant and trainer in people development; and journalist Jon Sistiaga, who will provide a human and strategic vision of the industrial future.
