Haizea stars in this Saturday’s Matinée de Miramon
The sextet of performers, most of whom are members of the Euskadiko Orkestra, will perform works by Rimsky-Korsakov and Thuille at this concert, which will take place on Saturday, 18 October, at 11:00 am, in Miramon.
This Saturday, 18 October, at 11:00 am, the second event of the Miramon Matinées Season, Euskadiko Orkestra’s chamber music series, will take place. The Haizea ensemble will offer a recital entitled “Keys and Winds”. Five of the six members of the group are from the Euskadiko Orkestra: Hélène Billard-Alirol (flute), Pascal Laffont (oboe), Sara Zufiaurre (clarinet), Anne Charlotte Lacroix (bassoon) and Marianne Tauzin (horn). Arkaitz Mendoza on piano completes the group.
This Miramon Matinee takes us on a journey full of elegance, colour and subtlety through two rarely performed works from the chamber music repertoire. This programme highlights the dialogue between the wind instruments and the piano, revealing two unknown gems, imbued with lyricism, humour and refinement.
