Lantek to showcase v46 at EuroBLECH 2026, driving automation and connected manufacturing across the entire sheet metal production process
New capabilities in quoting, CAD/CAM, bending and machine connectivity deliver greater intelligence, flexibility and continuity throughout manufacturing operations
Lantek, a global leader in software solutions for the sheet metal, tube and structural steel sectors, will showcase Lantek v46: Further at EuroBLECH 2026. Visitors will be able to discover the company’s latest developments in Hall 11, Stand 11-C08.
Lantek v46 introduces significant advances in quoting, engineering, production programming and manufacturing execution. The new release extends automation across a wider range of technologies, connects more processes within the workshop and improves the flow of information between the different solutions that make up the Lantek ecosystem.
Taken together, these developments enable manufacturers to tackle increasingly complex production environments with higher levels of efficiency, flexibility and consistency.
A new generation of intelligent quoting
Lantek is introducing a major evolution of its iQuoting solution, incorporating significant enhancements across every stage of the quoting process.
The new part import assistant enables users to work with both individual 3D parts and complete assemblies, incorporating tools for detecting and managing geometries, handling layers and preparing imported information for quotation generation. From there, new manufacturability rules assess whether geometries can be produced using the available production technologies and capabilities.
Combined with deeper and more configurable calculation methods and the addition of predefined work plans, these capabilities bring manufacturing expertise into the earliest stages of the quoting process. Manufacturers can therefore represent their own production logic, manufacturing routes, resources and cost criteria more accurately when estimating increasingly complex projects.
Many of these capabilities are powered by KAI, Lantek’s artificial intelligence technology, which assists users by analysing manufacturing information, interpreting design data and automating complex decisions throughout the quoting process. Rather than replacing engineering expertise, KAI helps generate more accurate quotations in less time, reducing manual effort and improving consistency across results.
In addition, integration with the wider Lantek solutions portfolio has also been strengthened, enabling a much smoother transition from quotation approval to downstream manufacturing processes.
Advanced punching programming and optimisation with NOS
Lantek Expert v46 takes the programming of punching machines and combined punching and cutting technologies to a new level.
The new functionalities simplify and automate the programming of both individual parts and complete nests, while enabling advanced machining strategies and complex combinations of operations.
One of the key developments is the extension of NOS (Nesting Optimisation Service) to punching machines. Previously available only for cutting technologies, Lantek’s most advanced nesting engine now brings its material optimisation capabilities to punching environments, extending advanced optimisation to a wider range of sheet metal manufacturing technologies.
Greater automation throughout the production process
As automatic loading, unloading and storage systems continue to play an increasingly important role in sheet metal production, Lantek continues to develop new technologies to address the growing number and complexity of these projects.
The redesigned Stackmaster application provides a far more visual and intuitive stacking-programming experience, fully integrated within Lantek Expert. At the same time, Lantek is expanding its capabilities for automated storage systems through technologies capable of connecting and coordinating cutting machines and warehouses, managing MES flows, production processes and material inventories within a fully integrated automation workflow.
New possibilities for tube and structural steel manufacturing
Lantek Flex3D v46 incorporates a new module for designing tube-to-tube joints directly within 3D assemblies.
Users can create and adapt these joints from an extensive library of parametric connections commonly used throughout the industry. By integrating these capabilities into Lantek Flex3D, repetitive design tasks focused on manufacturing can be completed without the need to return to an external CAD application.
The solution also incorporates automatic unfolding of bent tubes during 3D file import, automatically generating the developed geometry required for cutting and manufacturing preparation.
For manufacturers of structural steelwork and profiles, Lantek v46 adds a new integration with Tekla PowerFab, connecting its MES-MRP environment with Lantek’s programming solutions. Together with the established connector for StruMIS, this integration expands the Lantek connectivity ecosystem and provides manufacturers with greater freedom to work with the specialist production management platforms that best fit their operations.
Greater flexibility in bending decision-making
Lantek v46 introduces a more advanced integration between Lantek Bend and the MES-managed manufacturing workflow.
The system can calculate and retain different bending alternatives for the same part across multiple press brakes. For each option, manufacturers can validate in advance the technical feasibility of the operation, along with the specific tooling, configuration and process information required for execution.
This makes it possible to select the final press brake much closer to the production stage, taking into account actual machine availability, workload and tool status. Production teams therefore gain greater flexibility to respond to workshop changes without losing previously validated technical information.
Enhanced machine connectivity across the workshop
Lantek continues to expand its Machine Connectivity capabilities beyond cutting machines, adding support for press brakes and other CNC machine types.
Control Panel also debuts a completely redesigned interface that improves the organisation, clarity and readability of machine information, complemented by a smoother and more responsive visualisation of real-time events.
By enabling a greater number of production assets to provide reliable information to Lantek MES, Control Panel and Lantek Analytics, this expansion reinforces Lantek’s multi-vendor approach, improves real-time visibility across the entire workshop and supports more accurate calculation of OEE and other key production indicators.
Taking connected manufacturing a step further
The innovations introduced in Lantek v46 all support a common objective: extending automation, strengthening integration and connecting a wider range of technologies throughout the manufacturing process.
From the moment a quotation is prepared through to the final decisions made on the shop floor, including engineering and programming activities, v46 delivers greater manufacturing intelligence and continuity at every stage. Complex parts and assemblies can be prepared more efficiently, advanced machining and nesting strategies are extended to a broader range of technologies, and production teams gain greater flexibility to adapt to changes in machine availability, tooling or operational priorities.
By making all this information available within a more connected workflow, these developments also strengthen production planning capabilities. Teams gain a more complete view of manufacturing requirements, available resources and real workshop conditions, enabling them to adjust planning more effectively, make better use of resources and maintain greater control over increasingly complex production environments.
“Connected manufacturing is not simply about linking machines or applications; it is about having the right information available at the moment decisions need to be made,” said Raúl Chopitea, Head of Product at Lantek. “With v46, we are building a more continuous manufacturing environment in which automation, planning and execution work together in a much more coordinated way.”
During EuroBLECH 2026, Lantek will demonstrate all of these innovations through its integrated portfolio of quoting, CAD/CAM, ERP, MES, machine connectivity and production monitoring solutions.
With almost four decades of experience, Lantek develops software solutions for sheet metal, tube and structural steel manufacturers worldwide. The company serves more than 40,000 customers in over 100 countries and supports more than 4,500 machine models through an open, multi-vendor software portfolio.
