New 36 meter high clad-rack warehouse by AR Racking for EHLIS

The galvanized self-supporting structure of AR Racking, in addition to the function of storing the load, forms the structure of the building, with 4 stacker cranes inside

EHLIS, a leading company in Spain for the distribution of hardware products, expands its logistics capacity with the opening of its new clad-rack warehouse equipped by the specialist in industrial storage solutions AR Racking, whose headquarters are located in the Bizkaia Science and Technology Park. The new logistics warehouse is located in the Iberum Central Platform, in Illescas (Toledo) and reaches 36 meters in height.

The logistics center of the Toledo town is based on the design and installation of AR Racking’s self-supporting galvanized racks, which, in addition to the function of storing the cargo, make up the structure of the building. With this self-supporting silo that occupies 3,125 m2, EHLIS will be able to store around 30,000 pallets distributed in a combination of both single and double-deep racks. Clad-rack warehouses manage to provide a high load density, which implies significant savings for less investment. The execution of the installation has taken 4 months.
