Recognition from Euskalit for leading initiatives that strengthen female talent in science and technology
The Basque Country Technology Park has been awarded the Basque Advanced Management Award in the Society category, an accolade that recognises organisations that, after previously achieving the Gold “A”, demonstrate exemplary (Role Model) management practices under the Advanced Management Model (MGA) for the excellence of their actions and their positive impact on society. The award follows an external evaluation carried out by the team appointed by Euskalit, with visits on 23 October, 6 and 7 November, and was granted to Parke for the good practice “Promoting female talent and vocations in science and technology.”

Three reasons for being a Role Model
The evaluation report identifies three main reasons that support Parke as a Role Model in the Society element:
• Strategic integration of social commitment, embedding the promotion of female talent and STEAM vocations as a structural core of its strategy.
• Capacity for collaboration and tractor effect, working in networks with ecosystem agents to amplify the reach of actions and contribute to more inclusive and competitive development.
• Generation of sustained social impact, through initiatives that connect education, business and technology, bringing science and innovation closer to girls, young people and society at large.
Communication is also highlighted as a key element, aimed at making initiatives visible, creating role models, and building a shared narrative, strengthening the social impact of its actions and contributing to the awakening of vocations in science and technology.
This recognition represents a new milestone for the Basque Country Technology Park in its strategy to contribute to social progress and talent development, reaffirming its role as a driving force in promoting a more innovative, inclusive and future-oriented society.
