Science and technology parks lead the business presence at Transfiere with more than one hundred representatives

The Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE) has gathered more than a hundred representatives of its parks and its most innovative companies at the 14th edition of Transfiere, held at the FYCMA (Trade Fair and Congress Centre of Malaga).
During its participation, APTE has once again highlighted its valuable contribution to Transfiere 2025, reaffirming its role as a driving force for innovation and business development through its main initiatives: APTENISA, APTE Top 100 Startups and PTE DISRUPTIVE.
Transfiere 2025 has once again served as a stage for the closing of the third edition of APTENISA, the startup ideation and acceleration programme promoted by APTE and co-financed by Enisa (Empresa Nacional de Innovación).
The programme culminated with a demo day, where 24 new companies housed in 7 science and technology parks located in 5 autonomous communities, presented their value propositions to the investment community.
Rocío Castrillo, Director of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Enisa (Empresa Nacional de Innovación), highlighted the success of the programme and the commitment of the public entity to innovative entrepreneurship through its support for initiatives such as this.
For his part, Felipe Romera, president of APTE, positively assessed the results of the programme, highlighting its impact on the consolidation of technological entrepreneurship in Spain and the creation of startups that strengthen innovation and competitiveness.
One of the highlights of Transfiere 2025 was the presentation of the APTE Top 100 Startups 2024 list, which recognises the 100 most innovative startups from the 51 science and technology parks that are members of APTE. About 30 of them participated in the Forum to present their projects and connect with potential investors and customers.
Felipe Romera and Rocío Castrillo spoke at the event, highlighting the importance of the list to make the entrepreneurial talent of the parks visible and its presentation at Transfiere as a key forum for innovation. Castrillo also highlighted the impact of the APTENISA programme, which has boosted eight of the start-ups included, and pointed out that 36% of the selected companies are led by women.
Each park presented key initiatives, such as seed capital funds, open innovation platforms and university-industry collaboration. They also presented the key indicators they use to measure the impact of these initiatives, such as the number of spin-offs, patents and funds raised.
The Spanish Technology Platform for Disruptive Technologies (DISRUPTIVE), promoted by APTE and funded by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities through the State Research Agency, participated in the Forum with a presentation highlighting its growth and activity. Currently, the platform brings together more than 800 members from 630 companies and, in 2024 alone, it has carried out 30 activities aimed at promoting digital transformation. In addition, it has contributed to the dissemination of more than 100 use cases of the most advanced technologies.
APTE has also had the opportunity to present its main activities and services to promote collaboration, innovation and business internationalisation in a presentation at the Research Center space.
In addition, the Association brought together its Executive Committee, its Technical Network, its Governance Committee and its working group of university parks, and held its first General Assembly of the year in which it welcomed 3 new members: the Gran Canaria Technology Park Experimental Area of Circular Economy, Parc de Recerca i Innovació Universitat de Girona and Kadans Science Partners SP Services S.L.. With them, the Association represents 60 members throughout Spain.
