Gipuzkoa, News

The Gipuzkoa-based company has defined a series of commitments and good practices in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals in order to draw the attention of customers and workers to certain global problems such as environmental conservation, hunger, gender inequality, responsible consumption and global peace.

The first action of this plan has focused on helping the Ukrainian population at war by collecting materials among the company’s employees.

Spyro Software, developer of ERP software for business process management, has defined, within its Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, an annual action plan to contribute to the SDGs.

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of 17 challenges defined by the UN. They are part of the 2030 Agenda and are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and improve the lives and prospects of people around the world.

“We want to be an active part of this commitment and contribute as much as we can to the success of the SDGs. That is why we felt it was very important to integrate it into our strategy, involve our employees and raise awareness in our environment” – said Ricardo Gonzalez, CEO of Spyro.

Spyro has developed a plan to carry out awareness-raising and sensitisation actions, selecting 12 initiatives related to the SDGs and the company’s environment. Employees have also expressed their satisfaction with the initiative, which shows its social face in these uncertain times we live in.
