The exhibition created by the Basque Country Technology Park brings together leading women from the history and present day of science and technology.

It will be open to visitors from 15 January to 15 February, during the museum’s normal opening hours.

The Laboratorium Museum in Bergara will host the exhibition ‘Women who changed and are changing the world’ from 15 January to 15 February. This exhibition is promoted by the Basque Country Technology Park as part of the Emakumeak Zientzian initiative, along with other activities organised by the museum to mark the International Day of Women and Girls in Science.

The exhibition focuses on leading women, both historical and contemporary, in science and technology, highlighting the contributions made by women to the progress of society. Through a journey that connects the past and the present, the exhibition showcases work that has often remained invisible and aims to create role models for new generations.

The exhibition is structured in two parts: ‘Women who changed the world’, dedicated to women who were key figures in the history of science and technology, and ‘Women who are changing the world’, which highlights the contribution of professionals currently working in these fields. It is a proposal with a clear message for the future.
