The Orange Foundation and Euskaltel Fundazioa sign a two-year collaboration agreement to promote equitable and responsible digitalisation for the whole of society, with a special focus on the most vulnerable groups

This January, the Orange Foundation and Euskaltel Fundazioa formalised a framework collaboration agreement that reinforces their joint commitment to a more humane, positive and inclusive digitalisation.

The two foundations – represented at the signing by Luz Usamentiaga, as president of Euskaltel Fundazioa, and Ludovic Pech, as president of the Orange Foundation – are thus joining forces to help build a more equitable and fair digital society, promoting the benefits of technology to as many people as possible, especially the most vulnerable groups.

With an initial term of two years (and the possibility of automatic annual renewal), this alliance therefore establishes the terms and conditions under which both entities will now expand their joint actions to include the exchange of knowledge and resources, as well as the implementation of projects and the management of grants with the aim of promoting STEAM vocations; promoting digital inclusion and the responsible use of technology; supporting vulnerable groups through the development of solutions tailored to their needs; and working together on other educational and social initiatives.

The Orange Foundation and Euskaltel Fundazioa are thus taking a step forward in their commitment to socially meaningful digitalisation, which contributes to reducing digital divides and promoting a more equitable and participatory society.
