The Sarenet Foundation and Politeknika Txorierri sign an agreement to promote Dual Training in the field of business telecommunications services

Sarenet, the voice and data operator and specialised hosting services for companies, through the Foundation that bears its name, and Politeknika Txorierri have reached a collaboration agreement to promote the incorporation of students into the world of work in the field of telecommunications and associated Internet services.

The agreement, which includes internships for students at Sarenet, also focuses on the incorporation of women in technical specialities, an objective pursued by the company as part of the different actions it has been developing with a view to gender equality.

The collaboration includes the organisation of visits and meetings in which students can see how Sarenet works, get to know its facilities on the Zamudio/Derio Campus of the Euskadi Technology Park, and the business telecommunications services it offers. The project also aims to involve these future professionals in different R&D activities carried out by the Sarenet Foundation, or in areas such as Cybersecurity, IoT or process automation with Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The initiative also aims to provide guidance in terms of the professional profiles, skills and technologies most in demand in this highly dynamic sector.

Politeknika Txorierri is a benchmark educational centre in Bizkaia, located in the Txorierri region (Derio) and belonging to the Mondragón corporation, the HETEL association and Ikastolen Elkartea. It is an entity that is very close to the business fabric, oriented towards excellence and which applies innovative methodologies based on collaborative learning.

The Sarenet Foundation, in which the company has invested more than 1 million euros to date, is focused on the development of R&D&I projects, especially aimed at facilitating and promoting the use of the most emerging technologies in projects that provide greater efficiency, improve competitiveness and sustainability, and enable the development of more valuable services, generating a social benefit.
