The Secretary General for Innovation Announces a New CDTI Line for Testing and Experimentation Infrastructures at Transfiere
The Secretary General for Innovation, Teresa Riesgo, has announced within the framework of Transfiere 2026 the launch of a new financing line from the Centre for the Development of Technological Innovation (CDTI) aimed at strengthening testing and experimentation infrastructures to support innovative companies and SMEs
The announcement was made during the 15th edition of Transfiere, the European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation organized by the Association of Science and Technology Parks of Spain (APTE), held at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga, which brought together around 200 representatives from science and technology parks and their most innovative companies
Up to 75% Funding and Applications Open Year-Round
The new line will help promote the construction and improvement of scientific and technological infrastructures that allow companies to test, validate, and scale technologies in advanced environments.
Key highlights include:
- Beneficiaries can include technology centers, science and technology parks, and companies that provide technology services to third parties.
- The grants will cover up to 75% of eligible costs.
- Applications can be submitted throughout the year, offering flexibility and continuity for applicants.
This initiative is expected to have a direct impact on strengthening innovation ecosystems by reinforcing the role of science and technology parks as key nodes for technology transfer, experimentation, and support for business growth.

Innovative Ecosystem and Public-Private Collaboration
The presence of the Asociación de Parques Científicos y Tecnológicos de España (APTE) at Transfiere was also marked by initiatives focused on entrepreneurship and technological innovation, such as the APTenisa program (an initiative led by APTE and co-funded by Empresa Nacional de Innovación), the APTE Top 100 Startups 2025 ranking, and the activities of the DISRUPTIVE platform.
The forum also served to showcase public-private collaboration experiences promoted by Spanish science and technology parks, reinforcing their role as strategic environments for digital transformation and the development of disruptive technologies.
