AR Racking verifies its carbon footprint

AR Racking has successfully completed its Organisation Carbon Footprint Verification for the financial years 2022, 2023 and 2024, covering scopes 1, 2 and 3 of the ISO 14064 standard. The audit, carried out by DNV, consolidates the company’s climate transparency and promotes its cross-cutting Living Sustainability programme, the cornerstone of the Arania Group’s ESG strategy.
This decarbonisation roadmap is based on the use of 100% renewable electricity, 25% photovoltaic self-consumption and energy and logistics optimisation measures already in place.
‘The independent validation of our emissions throughout the value chain allows us to turn data into action: accelerating carbon reduction and offering our customers storage solutions with an increasingly lower environmental impact,’ emphasises Ana Guinea, Sustainability Director at Grupo Arania.
With this endorsement, AR Racking reinforces the confidence of its customers and partners, providing them with verified metrics for their own climate goals and anticipating future regulatory requirements for sustainability reporting. The company will continue to expand the scope of Living Sustainability so that each new storage facility combines innovation, efficiency and increasingly lower carbon emissions.
