BIOLAN has won two new awards: for its people-centred business model and for its contribution to the business community in Bizkaia

BIOLAN has recently been honoured with two prestigious awards that highlight both its people-centred business model and its contribution to the business community of Bizkaia. On the one hand, the company has been honoured at the Arizmendiarrieta Sariak Bizkaia 2026 Awards and, on the other, it has received the BIZKAIKO ENPRESAK award, in its first edition, promoted by CEBEK (Bizkaia Business Confederation).

At the Arizmendiarrieta Sariak Awards, held on 27 April at the University of Deusto, BIOLAN was recognised in the SME category for its humanistic business model, which is aligned with the Inclusive Participatory Business Model (MIPE). The jury highlighted its participatory culture, its commitment to collaborative innovation and its dedication to developing scientific talent.

These awards, organised by Arizmendiarrieta Kristau Fundazioa and ADYPE, recognise organisations that combine competitiveness with human development, focusing on ethical management, social commitment and participation as key elements of sustainable business success.

A few days later, on 13 May, BIOLAN received the BIZKAIKO ENPRESAK 2026 award presented by CEBEK. The award ceremony took place at the Euskalduna Conference Centre, during an event focusing on Bizkaia’s deep-rooted presence and appeal as a competitive strategy.

This award recognises companies that embody the values and working methods of the region’s business community. In this regard, BIOLAN has been recognised for its innovative track record, its contribution to industrial development and its ability to generate value through science and technology.
