Industrial Transformation Grants: Protect your business against cyberattacks with the new Industrial Cybersecurity Grants
The new round of the Industrial Cybersecurity grant scheme, which opens on 19 May, will have a budget of €14 million. Basque industrial companies and those in related service sectors wishing to strengthen their defences against cyberattacks may submit their applications until 23 November 2026
This year, the programme is aimed at industrial and related service companies in the Basque Country, regardless of their size
Did you know that cyberattacks are one of the greatest threats to Basque industry? These attacks can cause serious financial losses and damage your reputation and your customers’ trust. That is why it is essential that you protect your information and systems with the best cybersecurity measures.
To help you achieve this, SPRI is launching the Industrial Cybersecurity 2026 programme, which offers grants and personalised advice to improve the IT security of Basque industrial companies. Through this programme, you will have access to experts who will analyse your current situation and propose an action plan tailored to your needs. This will enable you to prevent and respond to cyberattacks and ensure the competitiveness of your business.
The programme also reinforces its focus on compliance with recognised cybersecurity standards, directives and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, ENS, TISAX, IEC 62443, NIS2 and CRA, which are becoming increasingly crucial for accessing customers, markets and value chains.
A key new feature is that the funding also supports product cybersecurity projects, ranging from secure design and code review to encryption, vulnerability management, and the assessment or certification of industrial products.
The Industrial Cybersecurity Programme offers non-repayable grants of up to €100,000 per company, with an aid intensity of up to 60% of eligible costs. Take advantage of this opportunity to shield your company against cyber risks!
