Bizkaia Technology Park and Athletic Foundation signed a collaboration agreement

• Athletic Foundation will collaborate in the promotion of BTEK, the Technology Interpretation Centre located in the technology park.

The Technology Interpretation Centre, BTEK, has hosted this evening the presentation of the collaboration agreement between the Bizkaia Science and Technology Park and the Athletic Foundation.

The aim of BTEK, the Technology Interpretation Centre of the Bizkaia Technology Park, is to take technology closer to young people, mainly at secondary school level, promoting a scientific and technological culture among young people. To achieve this objective, a space has been designed for a broad range of content, divided into various modules. BTEK is located on building 602. Since it opened its doors in the year 2010, the Center has received the visit of more than 3,700 people, most of them coming from schools.

The agreement which has been presented today, will serve to boost the image and activity of BTEK among young people in the Basque Country; it will also serve to join technology and sport, as the Athletic Foundation will incorporate visits to the Centre to its summer campus programs.
