CIC energiGUNE doubles its presence in Stanford’s global ranking

Álava, News

CIC energiGUNE has doubled the number of scientists included in the ‘Ranking of the World Scientists’, compiled annually by Stanford University and the academic publisher Elsevier, in just one year.

Of the five researchers who appeared on the 2024 list (Michel Armand, Elena Palomo, Montse Casas-Cabanas, Javier Carrasco and Yaroslav Grosu), the number has risen to ten in this edition, including both those most cited in 2024 and those who appear in the General Ranking for their entire career.

These five researchers have been joined this year by Professor Heng Zhang, Professor Max García–Melchor, Dr Damien Saurel, and Dr Shanmukaraj Devaraj, who works as a senior researcher in the Organic Materials group at CIC energiGUNE, researching solid-state polymer batteries since 2013.

In addition, Professor Daniel Carriazo appears in the General Ranking for his research career. It should be noted that Michel Armand, Elena Palomo, and Javier Carrasco also appear in this section.

The ‘Ranking of the World Scientists’ contains information on scientific activity carried out in 2024. The data in this publication, considered the main international reference in the scientific field, is collected worldwide based on the impact of published research.
