Leire Etxetxikia Etxebeste, ASPEGI 2023 Award in the Directive/Professional category

The Director of Central Operations in Spain and Portugal of DHL Parcel Iberia, based at the Donostia Campus of the Euskadi Technology Parks, wins the award in the Management/Professional category.

Izaskun Larrañaga, Managing Director of the LACOR-IBILI Group, was also recognised in the category of Businesswoman.

The Association of Businesswomen and Professionals of Gipuzkoa, ASPEGI, has presented its annual awards. On this occasion, the award in the category of Directive/Professional went to Leire Etxetxikia Etxebeste, manager of the company DHL Parcel Iberia.

From its headquarters at the Donostia Campus of the Euskadi Technology Parks, Etxetxikia manages the Central Operations department in Spain and Portugal.
An Industrial Engineer, she also trained in “Women on Boards of Directors” at the IESE Business School in Madrid in 2021.

She has developed her entire professional career in the logistics sector. She joined “Guipuzcoana” in February 1998, 25 years ago, in the position of Quality Engineer. Once this company was integrated into the DPDHL Group, she was appointed Director of Business Development and Assets at DHL Express. In 2017, she took on the challenge of managing the Central Operations department in DHL’s e-Commerce Solutions division, a position she currently holds. Since 2003, he has been a member of the Management Committee, facing many and varied challenges in this position.

For its part, ASPEGI presented its award in the category of Businesswoman to Izaskun Larrañaga, Managing Director of the LACOR-IBILI Group. A graduate in Business Administration and Management with a Master’s degree in International Management, she is also a technical engineer in Computer Science. She has developed her entire professional career in the family group with more than 80 years of history.
