LORTEK begins its multi-location journey with its establishment in the Donostia Campus of the Basque Technology Parks

Gipuzkoa, News

The Lortek Technology Centre, which belongs to the BRTA and Mondragon Corporation alliance, and with more than 20 years of experience since its creation in the Gipuzkoan town of Ordizia, is opening new facilities on the Donostia Campus of the Basque Technology Parks, starting its multi-location journey with three clear objectives: to get closer to its clients and new companies, to take care of the people who work in the technology centre and to attract talent.

The Donostia Campus has been the place chosen to expand its offices in the capital of Gipuzkoa as this is where the largest concentration of technology companies and start-ups in the territory are located, immersed in an innovation ecosystem. The approach to these companies located in the perimeter of Donostia will undoubtedly allow Lortek to have greater visibility and boost its R&D&I transfer activity to companies.

Lortek thus adds a new instrument of flexibility and conciliation for current and future workers, which reinforces those already implemented recently. Lortek aims to increase its workforce by 10% this year.

This has been a major milestone for the technology centre and it will not be the only one, as it expects to finish 2023 by expanding new workspaces.
