Mutualia to Develop a High-Resolution Centre for Innovation in Occupational Health and Biomechanics
Mutualia’s new strategic project will be located at the Donostia Campus and will strengthen Parke’s position as a leading environment for science, technology and innovation applied to healthcare.
Mutualia has acquired a plot of land at Parke’s Donostia Campus to develop a new High-Resolution Centre featuring a comprehensive biomechanics laboratory, specialised healthcare services and activities linked to the recovery of workplace injuries.
The project represents a significant step in Mutualia’s commitment to bringing together advanced healthcare, technology, applied research and specialised expertise in occupational health within a single facility. The centre has been conceived to address emerging challenges in prevention, diagnosis, functional recovery and the improvement of workers’ quality of life.
The future facility will include, among other spaces, a comprehensive biomechanics laboratory, diagnostic and treatment areas, specialist consulting rooms, outpatient services and dedicated areas for the scientific and technical activities carried out by the organisation. The building has been designed according to an innovative model focused on clinical excellence, applied technology and the generation of knowledge in the field of occupational health.
The implementation of this new strategic project will also reinforce Parke’s specialisation in sectors linked to health technologies and the bioeconomy, adding to its ecosystem an infrastructure capable of fostering synergies with companies, technology centres, universities and innovation stakeholders based on the campus.
Through this project, Parke adds a new high-value initiative linked to health technologies, further strengthening the Donostia Campus’s specialisation in strategic areas for economic and social development. Mutualia’s presence will help consolidate an environment where companies, technology centres, universities and innovative organisations work together to generate knowledge, wellbeing and progress.
