More than 120 vocational training students from Araba took part in a day of the Ikasenpresa programme, organised by iTalent —the Basque Institute of Talent in Vocational Training— with the aim of fostering entrepreneurial spirit and bringing the business world closer to the classroom. The event took place at the Vitoria-Gasteiz Campus of the Basque Country Technology Park.

The Basque Institute of Talent in Vocational Training, iTalent, held a new Ikasenpresa programme event at the Vitoria-Gasteiz Campus of the Euskadi Technology Park, an initiative that promotes entrepreneurial culture among vocational training students and strengthens the connection between the educational sphere and the business world.

More than 120 students from different vocational training centres in Araba took part in this event, which combined workshops, group dynamics and collaborative activities aimed at developing key skills for entrepreneurship, such as creativity, innovation and teamwork.

During the day, participants had the opportunity to share ideas, explore projects and strengthen the cross-cutting skills needed to drive their own business initiatives.

iTalent emphasises that programmes such as Ikasenpresa ‘bring the reality of business into the classroom and awaken young people’s interest in creating, innovating and leading new projects’.

The activity is part of iTalent’s strategy to promote talent and employability in vocational training, promoting vocational training that is more connected to the challenges and opportunities of the Basque Country’s productive environment.
