This Thursday, the Vitoria-Gasteiz Campus will host the performance of three groups featuring professionals from companies in the Basque Country Technology Park in a new ‘Parkea Musik Fest’ event
The event, which is free and open to anyone, will be held from 16:30 in the Central Building of the Vitoria-Gasteiz Campus.
The groups Echoes&Voices -electronic music-, Growing -alternative rock- and Unai Sarasola -rock- are taking part in this initiative that forms part of ‘BeParke Kluba’, aimed at turning campuses into spaces for socialising and fun that help to attract and retain talent.
The Vitoria-Gasteiz Campus of the Basque Country Technology Park will host a new edition of ‘Parkea Musik Fest’ this coming Thursday 13 June, the initiative promoted by the Basque Country Technology Park that aims to give visibility to the creative talent of its workers, and to transform the workspace into an ecosystem of life open to social and cultural experiences. This initiative is part of the different activities that can be enjoyed throughout the year at the 6 active campuses of the Basque Country Technology Park through BeParke Kluba.
The event will take place in the Central Building of the Vitoria-Gasteiz Campus with free admission for all those interested, whether or not they are employees of Parke companies. At least one member of each group is an employee of a company located on the Campus, and each band will play for approximately half an hour, but in addition to the music, there will be raffles, pintxos and drinks, exclusive discounts for festivals, and 100 free drinks.
The musical evening will begin with a DJ session, which will be followed by performances by Echoes&Voices -electronic music-, Growing -alternative rock- and Unai Sarasola -rock-. All the bands will include representatives from one of the Parke companies, in this case from Liof Pharma, Lantek and AAC-Centro de Acústica Aplicada.
Echoes&Voice includes the participation of people working at Liof Pharma, a biotechnology company specialising in the contract manufacture of sterile medicines. Growing is made up of staff from Lantek, a company dedicated to the digital transformation of the sheet metal industry, and will set the mood for the afternoon with their alternative rock. Unai Sarasola belongs to AAC Centro de Acústica Aplicada, an engineering company specialising in acoustics and lighting.
Parkea Musik Fest is an initiative that arose from the ‘A Challenge for the Parkea’ programme, which was launched seven years ago, and of which twelve editions have already been held on the Donostia, Zamudio/Derio, Vitoria-Gasteiz and Leioa campuses. The initiative seeks to highlight the talent of the people who make up Parke and aims to transform the working environment into a space for leisure, wellbeing and free time.
This Thursday’s event at the Vitoria-Gasteiz Campus will be followed by the one scheduled for 19 September at the Donostia Campus of the Basque Country Technology Park.
