• This year, for the first time, the Interpretation Centre of Technology, BTEK, has opened its doors to the public.
• Activities for all ages, scientific workshops, magic show, path trees, golf course and visits to companies and research centers have completed the program of the XI edition of the Open Day.
Bizkaia Technology Park held its XI edition of the Open Day, with many activities for all ages. Despite the rain, thousands of people have participated in various activities from 10:00 to 14:00: Workshops for young scientists, Aeromodelling, Magic Show, Trail of Trees, Music … Furthermore, the Basque Energy has set electric vehicles and visitors have had the opportunity to use electric bikes.
The novelty of this edition has been BTEK, the Interpretation Centre of Technology has opened its doors to the general public, an audience that has viewed with much curiosity. The Centre has also hosted several scientific workshops. BTEK aims to bring science and technology to society, especially students, through various modules designed to do a tour of the Digital World, nanotechnology, biotechnology and robotics, among others. Occupies the building BTEK 602 Technology Park, a building of two pyramid-shaped volume that has won numerous architectural awards.
