Tickets go on sale for the 26/27 Symphonic Season concerts
Tickets for the concerts of Euskadiko Orkestra’s 26/27 Season have been on sale since 1 September. The new season begins on 25 September.

Tickets for all concerts in Bilbao, Pamplona and San Sebastián can be purchased through euskadikoorkestra.eus, as well as through the websites of the respective venues (euskalduna.eus, baluarte.com and kursaal.eus), at their box offices and through their usual sales channels. Season subscriptions are also still available here, starting at €87.
Euskadiko Orkestra subscribers, students, under-30s, over-65s and unemployed people can benefit from special rates when purchasing tickets. In addition, thanks to the Young Last-Minute Ticket, people under 30 can purchase tickets in all seating areas for €10, 30 minutes before the concert begins, at the box office of the corresponding concert hall.
There is currently no ticket or subscription sales in Vitoria-Gasteiz, as the capacity of the Jesús Guridi Conservatory is currently fully booked.
A Season to make you feel
The new Season takes audiences on a journey through the great questions of the human condition: life and death, destiny, hope, memory, identity and freedom. A journey that moves from the spirituality of Gustav Mahler to the political tension of Dmitri Shostakovich; from the sound world of Bach to the modernity of Stravinsky; from the Basque musical heritage of Aita Donostia and Jesús Guridi to the vitality of Latin America through Pacho Flores.
A musical snapshot of the Season will include the revival of La vie profonde de Saint François d’Assise, which Aita Donostia premiered in Paris in 1926, exactly one hundred years ago. The French capital, then an epicentre of the avant-garde, also brought together other contemporary composers such as Falla and his circle, Debussy and Stravinsky. Their programme will show how these three figures became fundamental pillars in the renewal of 20th-century music.
Another key pillar of the musical architecture of the Season will be Bach, serving both as a starting point and a source of inspiration. Seven composers from the 19th and 20th centuries reinvent the technical perfection of the German genius, giving it a new life. A leap through time will then take us to the America of Venezuelan trumpeter Pacho Flores and his virtuosity, exploring stories of flowers, tangos, songs and uprisings.
After many years, two major figures in piano performance and contemporary music history will return to the Season: Christian Zacharias, who will perform as both pianist and conductor, and Elisabeth Leonskaja. The experience of these great artists will contrast with the promising youth of tenor Luken Munguira, who emerged from the choral tradition, and Jone Martínez, who is already pursuing a distinguished international career.
Their voices will join those of the Orfeón Donostiarra, the Easo Choir, Easo Gazte and the Bilbao Choral Society, bringing the great choral tradition to life. Other voices, this time anonymous, will come together to form a new choir for the third edition of Abestu Euskadiko Orkestrarekin.
