Ayesa Digital strengthens its position in one of Andalusia’s main technology hubs with a new strategic project for the ADA

It will evolve the Andalusian Digital Agency’s corporate financial management and e-procurement systems

Andalusia continues to be one of the key pillars underpinning Ayesa Digital’s growth, technological capabilities and commitment to talent. The recent award of the Andalusian Digital Agency (ADA) contract to evolve its corporate financial management and e-procurement systems represents another step in a sustained strategy of investment, innovation and highly skilled job creation in the region.

Through this project, Ayesa Digital once again takes the lead in the technological evolution of two of the most critical platforms for the operation of the Andalusian Administration: GIRO, the system supporting the budgetary, accounting and financial management of the Regional Government of Andalusia, and SiREC, the platform that electronically manages public procurement procedures. Both are essential to ensuring a more efficient, transparent and interoperable Administration focused on citizens.

The project includes the development of new functionalities, evolutionary and adaptive maintenance of the systems, specialised support services, the implementation of new capabilities and knowledge transfer, as well as the transformation and consolidation of the various systems that make up the Regional Government of Andalusia’s expenditure platform. This will be approached from a perspective of simplifying the model and treating its different components as a unified technological ecosystem.

The project awarded by the ADA aims to ensure the evolution of systems that support essential processes for the operation of the regional Administration.

In the case of GIRO, the project will enable continued progress in the evolution of the Regional Government of Andalusia’s financial management system through new functionalities, usability improvements, adaptation to new regulatory frameworks, the promotion of electronic records, integration with other corporate systems and the technological evolution of the platform. Key areas include interoperability, integration with new asset management systems, the transition towards next-generation SAP technologies and adaptation to new European funds management mechanisms.

Meanwhile, SiREC will continue to evolve as a platform that enables end-to-end management of electronic public procurement, facilitating digital interaction between the Administration, economic operators and supervisory bodies, and contributing to more agile, transparent and secure public procurement.

As a transformative element, the project envisages the application of AI-based techniques to facilitate users’ day-to-day operations and enhance the system’s capabilities. This will improve public employees’ productivity, allowing them to focus their activity on generating value.
