In the middle of the implementation of its new strategic focus on sustainability, AR Racking has become a partner of the United Nations Global Compact, the UN initiative that leads corporate sustainability worldwide. Adherence to the Pact confirms AR Racking’s commitment to business development that is respectful of collaborating entities, people and the environment.
As a partner of the Pact, AR Racking is committed to: on the one hand, incorporating the Ten Principles in its strategy, which involve “operating in ways that, at a minimum, meet fundamental responsibilities in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption” and, on the other, carrying out actions that comply with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) with the sights set on 2030.
Corporate sustainability is applied so that, in addition to generating financial profitability, companies create environmental, social and economic value in the medium and long term, thus contributing to the progress and well-being of the communities where they operate and future generations.
