Efficiency in Motion: Collaborative Project Optimises AQUILA Romania’s Warehousing Operations

AR Racking and AMCO Interdeal in a successful warehousing solution

AQUILA Romania has added 9,000 storage positions in Aricesti-Ploiești, Romania

AR Racking, is proud to announce the successful completion of an ambitious project for AQUILA Romania, a leader in the logistics and distribution sector. The project, led by AMCO Interdeal, official supplier in Romania, consisted of the installation of a pallet racking system in a new warehouse located in Aricesti-Ploiești, Romania, with a surface area of 6,840 m² and capacity for approximately 9,000 pallet locations. AMCO Interdeal’s in-depth knowledge of storage solutions and understanding of AQUILA Romania’s specific needs were instrumental in achieving this result.

The installation of the racking system, which was completed in a period of 21 days, has transformed the warehouse with advanced features including two pass-through tunnels under the racking. These tunnels allow quick access for goods handling equipment, facilitating forklift operation from the truck unloading area to the rear of the warehouse, significantly improving operational efficiency and reducing processing times. The racks, with a height of 9 metres and manufactured in galvanised material, ensure durability and strength, adapting to the customer’s needs.
