Cybersecurity in the company: from threats to security governance
This session is designed to help understand why cybersecurity is now a real concern for any company and what it means to manage it in an organised and responsible way.
During the session, the types of issues companies face in the digital environment will be explained (fraud, service disruptions, loss of information, legal penalties, etc.) and why this is not just an IT matter, but an issue that affects the business, management and the continuity of operations.
It will address how a company can better organise itself to prevent problems, make decisions in advance and know what to do when an incident occurs.
To this end, the role of the different plans and internal policies that help establish clear rules, prioritise risks, respond to a crisis and ensure that the company can continue to operate will be explained.
An overview of the legal obligations and external requirements that currently affect many organisations will also be provided, explaining their purpose and the impact they may have on the company, without going into technical detail.
All of this will be delivered with a practical approach, focused on decision-making and business management, and suitable for people without specialised technical knowledge.
