Álava, News

Lantek will be located at stand E-31 in pavilion 5 at the 32nd edition of the Machine Tool Biennial, which will take place from 3 to 7 June in Bilbao.

The company’s commitment to innovation confirms its leadership in the transformation of the sector through software.

Lantek, a multinational company from Alava and a pioneer in the digital transformation of the sheet metal and metal cutting and processing sector, will once again be present at the 32nd edition of the Biennial Machine-Tool Fair (BIEMH 2024), the major industrial event to be held at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre from 3 to 7 June.

Together with 1,250 other exhibitors from all over the world, the company will present a wide range of advanced solutions and new manufacturing functionalities, as well as the latest versions of its software solutions Lantek Expert, Lantek Flex3D, Lantek MES & Integra and Lantek Bend, aimed at all types of companies in the sheet metal sector.

With its presence at the BIEMH 2024, the company is strengthening its international position in the field of CAD-CAM/MES/ERP solutions in the sheet metal industry sector, with the aim of supporting its customers in the efficiency of their processes in order to increase their competitiveness.

In the words of Joseba Montoya, Sales Director Spain/Portugal of Lantek, “It is a pleasure to once again be part of one of the most important events in the sector, demonstrating all the technological, customised and flexible solutions that Lantek is able to offer. The BIEMH is the perfect showcase for our commitment to innovation and new developments, focused on process automation, connectivity between machines and data analysis that contribute to improving the productivity and competitiveness of the industry and allow us to respond to the technological, economic and social challenges of the sector”.

Lantek will be located at stand E-31 in hall 5 in an edition where large machines in operation will be the focus of interest, offering a live industrial and technological show.

Lantek innovations at BIEMH: Machine Connectivity and Assembly to Nesting

Among the technological advances that Lantek will showcase during the fair, the integration of Machine Connectivity technology in its software, which enables real-time data reception from cutting machines, for any model and manufacturer, stands out.

This new technology allows the presentation of two new products that will be exhibited at BIEMH 2024. The first, Wos Automatic, is responsible for exploiting real-time data for accurate time control, and thus improving efficiency in production scheduling and job budgeting.

It will also present Control Panel, which shows the situation of a workshop in real time, allowing those responsible for manufacturing a complete visualisation system of what is happening on each machine or on each line, at any time and from any device.

In addition, the company will showcase its innovative Assembly to Nesting (A2N) functionality, designed to address customers’ growing demand for more efficient 3D file handling. A2N is an advanced importer of 3D parts and assemblies that excels in its ability to automatically unfold sheet metal parts. Its benefits are significant: speed in the processing of 3D models; elimination of the need for external 3D CAD tools; and total precision in the unfolding of parts, thanks to user-defined rules.

In addition, Lantek will showcase the new functionalities of the Lantek MES and Lantek Integra products with Lantek Flex3D. With all these new features, incorporated in the latest update, Lantek is evolving in its maturity stage towards the most flexible tube and profile cutting solution, thereby improving its usability, automation capabilities and integration with the company’s factory management solutions.

Commitment to innovation for the industrial sector

Investment and commitment to R&D have been key to Lantek’s more than 35 years of existence, and to its technological leadership in the sector. The close collaboration it maintains with more than 150 leading machine tool manufacturers around the world endorses this commitment to lead the transformation of the sector through software.

To support this great commitment, Lantek has doubled its R&D team in the last two years with the aim of continuing to accelerate the commercial launch of pioneering products in the sheet metal, tube and metal finishing transformation market.

BIEMH, organised by AFM-Advanced Manufacturing Technologies and the Bilbao Exhibition Centre, has the collaboration of the Basque Government and Aimhe-Association of Machine-Tool Importers, making it a cutting-edge showcase for the most advanced technological solutions and bringing together the industry’s most cutting-edge companies. It also has a large network of powerful alliances and strong sectoral support from the entire advanced manufacturing sector, both nationally and internationally.
