The 3rd Passion for Science Congress, organised by the EHU/i+Med Personalised Medicine Classroom, will be held on 24 and 25 November 2026 in the Francisco de Vitoria Auditorium at the Europa Conference Centre. The programme will offer more than €3,000 in prizes for the best oral presentations delivered by PhD researchers.

Among the keynote speakers will be Pedro Miguel Etxenique, a leading figure in science and founder and president of the Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC), and Mikel Sánchez, a renowned authority in medicine and clinical practice. Alongside them, researchers and professionals from a range of disciplines will explore how science, academia, industry and clinical practice are interconnected and contribute to the advancement of knowledge.

The congress will address topics including the relationship between science, industry and society; innovation and knowledge transfer; polymers; product quality; translational research; clinical trials; and the challenges facing clinical practice. The programme will combine keynote lectures and panel discussions with oral presentations, poster sessions and talks focused on professional opportunities beyond academia.

The invitation is open to the entire scientific community, including undergraduate and master’s students preparing their final dissertations, PhD candidates, predoctoral and postdoctoral researchers, academic staff and industry professionals. The congress will provide an excellent opportunity to present research, discover new areas of investigation, exchange ideas and explore alternative career paths.

There will also be plenty happening between sessions, including prize draws, giveaways for attendees and interactive activities, in addition to refreshment breaks and catering. Admission is free, although prior registration is required via passionforsciencecongress.com.
