Music, Awards and Outdoor Fun at Campus Zamudio/Derio with the 15th Edition of “Parkea Musik Fest”

The area outside the main building of Campus Zamudio/Derio was transformed into a vibrant meeting place this Thursday with the celebration of a new edition of Parkea Musik Fest, which once again brought together three musical acts featuring professionals from Parke companies and hosted the awards ceremony for the first edition of the BeParke Kluba Corporate League

Organised as part of BeParke Kluba, the fifteenth edition of Parkea Musik Fest once again demonstrated that sharing experiences beyond the workplace is an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships between colleagues, create new connections and continue building a sense of community in a friendly, inclusive and relaxed atmosphere.

Live music once again took centre stage throughout the event—this time in a fantastic outdoor setting—thanks to the talent of professionals from companies based at The Basque Country Technology Park. Taking to the stage were Taykus, the stage name of Ivan Lodeiro, a parts inspector at ITP Aero, who delivered an electronic music set; El Mentón, a pop-rock band led by Gorka Álvarez, manager of the Txanogorritxu nursery school, which will open its doors at Campus Zamudio/Derio next September; and Bitter Bites, a classic rock band featuring Begoña Cueto, a technician in Zucchetti’s SAT support service specialising in business software.

In addition to the musical performances, attendees enjoyed prize draws, special discounts and one of this year’s main novelties: the first-ever Parkea Musik Fest table football tournament, which attracted significant participation and helped create a festive and friendly atmosphere throughout the day.

The event also provided the setting for the presentation of awards to the winning companies in the first edition of the BeParke Kluba Corporate League. The competition, which attracted a high level of participation, was characterised by the close contest between teams, with the standings remaining extremely tight until the final rounds. The closely fought outcome highlighted the commitment, effort and team spirit demonstrated by all participating companies.

Following the most recent events in the competition—CrossFit, Escape Room and 3×3 Basketball—the final standings were as follows:

Small Company Category Winner: Proquinorte
Medium-Sized Company Category Winner: Grupo Arania
Large Company Category Winner: Ingeteam

Representatives of the three companies collected their respective awards at a ceremony also attended by the Minister for Industry, Energy Transition and Sustainability, Mikel Jauregi, who had the opportunity to congratulate the winners personally.

Fifteen Editions and Growing

Originally launched as part of the “A Challenge for the Parke” initiative, Parkea Musik Fest has become one of the flagship activities of BeParke Kluba, offering a unique space in which participants can share interests, discover the talent of the people who make up the Parke ecosystem and strengthen their sense of belonging to an increasingly connected community.

The sixteenth edition is scheduled to take place at Campus Donostia, expected to be held during the first half of October.
