Ormazabal grows and expands its facilities within the Zamudio/Derio Campus of the Euskadi Technology Park

Ormazabal’s new headquarters, located in building 614 of the Zamudio/Derio Campus of the Euskadi Technology Park, will progressively house, in addition to the aforementioned headquarters, the two companies of Velatia’s electrical business: Supsonik and Stratenergy.

Supsonik designs, manufactures and markets power electronics equipment and systems for the industrial sector.

Stratenergy focuses its activity on decarbonising its customers’ operations through energy efficiency, self-production and electric mobility.

The new headquarters has 3,500 m2 of office space and 5,500 m2 of industrial space.

Ormazabal, a Velatia Group company specialising in electrical solutions, takes another step forward in its growth plan and expands its facilities on the Zamudio/Derio Campus.

Ormazabal currently has a team of more than 2,400 people worldwide and had a turnover of more than 610 million euros in 2022.

The move to the new headquarters, which has 3,500 m2 of office space and 5,500 m2 of industrial space, will be carried out progressively over the coming months, where the group’s companies Velatia, Supsonik and Stratenergy, also focused on energy transition, will also be incorporated.

Supsonik designs, manufactures and markets power electronics equipment and systems for the industrial sector. It is currently located in Sondika and was acquired by the business group in 2021.

Stratenergy, which focuses its activity on decarbonising its customers’ operations through energy efficiency, self-production and electric mobility, was already located at the Zamudio/Derio Campus and in its 5 years of life has already become the largest energy services company for relevant companies in Spain.

The size and characteristics of the new Ormazabal headquarters mean that Velatia’s headquarters can also be moved there from the 104 building it currently occupies.
