Sener and Tecnalia will collaborate for the development and industrial scaling of advanced technological solutions

The agreement focuses on several innovation vectors, such as energy, infrastructures and mobility, solutions for the aerospace and defence market and decarbonisation, among others.

The engineering and technology group Sener and Tecnalia, the largest applied research and technological development centre in Spain, have signed a collaboration agreement to strengthen their capabilities in research, technological development and innovation. The agreement establishes a cooperation framework that seeks to accelerate the innovation cycle and contribute to the industrial scaling of advanced technological solutions.

The agreement establishes the basis for effective collaboration in a number of technological areas, including applied research, training and the development of technological competencies of personnel. Specific objectives include promoting open innovation strategies, strengthening collaboration with international technology platforms, and conceptualising and developing joint R&D and innovation projects.

To boost collaboration, the creation of work teams is planned in both companies, with profiles and professionals with expertise in different fields to promote the transversality of the projects. They will also have a Monitoring Committee that will allow for evaluation, adjustments and the incorporation of new initiatives according to the needs of the industry.
