Spyro Software pays tribute to its founder and CEO after 40 years of leadership

Ricardo González announces his retirement after four decades leading the Gipuzkoa-based technology company. To honour his career, an emotional ceremony was held with the participation of workers and members of the TSS group, which the company joined in 2020.

Spyro Software, a renowned technology company from Gipuzkoa, bids farewell to its founder and manager, Ricardo González, who is retiring after 40 years at the helm of the company. Since its founding in 1985, Gonzalez has led the company on a path of success, positioning Spyro as a benchmark in the development of specialized ERP software for industry.

In a ceremony full of emotion, Spyro employees and members of the Total Specific Solutions (TSS) group gathered to pay tribute to the professional career of Ricardo González. Visibly moved, Gonzalez thanked those who have been with him throughout his long career and said: ‘I have had the privilege of leading this project for 40 years, but the real success of Spyro Software has always been the team we have built. Without them, none of this would have been possible’.

The integration into Total Specific Solutions in 2020 was a decisive step for the future of Spyro Software, aligned with its vision of sustainable growth. This union allowed the company to strengthen its competitiveness, while remaining true to its values.

Maialen Eguino, who has been part of the management team in recent years, takes the reins as the new manager. Her leadership is aimed at continuing the company’s growth and tackling new challenges in the competitive technological environment. ‘The challenge is great, but so is the opportunity to take Spyro Software to new heights, always true to the values that Ricardo has established,’ said Eguino.

This handover marks the beginning of a new era for Spyro Software, which, under new management, will continue to focus on the excellence that has always characterised the company, with its sights set on new horizons and with a clear focus on innovation, sustainability and the expansion of new business opportunities.
