The Industry brings together 400 R&D experts to discuss the €10,000 million of European aid for innovation
On Tuesday, the Basque Government, through the SPRI Group and with the collaboration of Innobasque, is organising an event at the BEC, to decide how to distribute the last €10,000 million from the European Commission’s 7th Framework Programme. – There will be 210 bilateral meetings with bodies from the Basque Network for Science, Technology and Innovation to identify projects of common interest that would help them globalise their R&D via this funding. – During the day, information will be provided on the new 2020 Horizonte Programme that will begin in 2014 which is worth €80,000 million.
The day, which bears the title, “The 7th European R&D Framework Programme and Horizonte 2020 – New R&D collaboration opportunities”, will take place in Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC). The Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) and the European Commission will also be collaborating at the event. It is expected that 400 R&D experts, representing their companies, will take part in the 7th Framework Programme.
