The PCTBizkaia works with Politeknika Ikastegia Txorierri in the European project EMPLOY
- EMPLOY is powered by eight agencies of different European countries, among them Politeknika Ikastegia Txorierri, and has a budget of nearly € 300,000.

The Bizkaia Science and Technology Park has reached an agreement with Politeknika Ikastegia Txorierri to collaborate in the development of the European project EMPLOY, a project that is part of the program Leonardo Da Vinci, focused in transfer of innovation of the DG Education and culture of the EU lifelong learning programme.
The objective of the project is to develop a methodology to improve the employability of students of vocational training: a “tool kit” with innovative activities that offers opportunities for encounters between students and job seekers to better preparation and guarantee of success in the workplace. Will be used innovative elements developed in previous projects and “design thinking” techniques to involve students in the strategic planning of its future, an will be identified abilities and skills that require specific practical training. In addition will increase mobility in employment through recognized international credits for outcomes assessed.
EMPLOY project is powered by eight participants from seven European countries (Belgium, Spain, Italy, Holland, Portugal, Great Britain and Turkey) among which four are vocational training centres, one of them Politeknika Ikastegia Txorierri, which drive the project in their respective institutions. EMPLOY has a budget of 299.899€ .
The Parque Científico y Tecnológico de Bizkaia will collaborate in the needs analysis and the valorisation of the project, through the contact with companies located in the Park and the organization of work meetings.
