VIVEbiotech receives the “Business Innovation” award at the 32nd edition of Basque Business Night

VIVEbiotech has received the “Business Innovation” award at the 32nd edition of the Basque Company Night for its management model to promote the new biotechnology industry.

Gurutz Linazasoro, Executive President of the Gipuzkoan company VIVEbiotech received the “Business Innovation” award during the gala of the XXXIII edition of the Basque Business Night.

After receiving the award, Linazasoro reminded the audience that “we are 110 people brimming with passion and talent, 75% of whom are young women. And we innovate. Out of conviction and necessity”.

A solid project with its own personality

VIVEbiotech is a 100% Gipuzkoan project, and since 2015 they have led the creation in Gipuzkoa of an ecosystem specialising in health biotechnology, aimed at personalised and precision medicine, developing and manufacturing lentiviral vectors as a European leader working under EMA and FDA regulations. Lentiviral vectors produced by VIVEbiotech are administered both ex-vivo and in-vivo to treat various disorders, such as haematological and solid cancers, and rare diseases.

They have stable and large-scale international clients and projects that allow them to consolidate their structure and continue to grow in a sustainable manner, positioning the company and the Territory at the forefront of the medicine of the future worldwide.
