Abyntek Biopharma materialises its commitment to oncology research through the “We finance your project” programme

The company Abyntek Biopharma, based at the Zamudio/Derio Campus of the Euskadi Technology Park, has announced the name of the researcher selected for the “We finance your project” programme, which forms part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme.

Of all the applications submitted, the project led by Alberto Benito Martín at the Alfonso X el Sabio University will be funded. Specifically, Abyntek Biopharma will allocate 1,296 euros in reagents for the selected project and in this way materialise the company’s commitment to oncology research by allocating resources to finance and facilitate the work of the research teams.

The project of the team led by researcher Alberto Benito focuses on the study of the role of extracellular vesicles, or exsosomes, and immunity in the tumour microenvironment associated with cancer, among other diseases. The Fundación Jiménez Díaz, the Centro Nacional de Investigaciones Oncológicas and the Hospital Universitario Severo Ochoa are cooperating in the project.
