AR Racking renews EcoVadis Gold certification in 2024, consolidating its leadership in sustainability
AR Racking is positioned among the top 5% of the best evaluated companies worldwide in terms of sustainability
AR Racking, specialist in industrial storage solutions, has renewed its EcoVadis Gold certification, reaffirming its commitment to environmental, social and ethical sustainability. This recognition places AR Racking among the top 5% of the more than 100,000 companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide.
EcoVadis evaluates the sustainability of companies in four key areas: environment, labour practices and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The Gold distinction reflects AR Racking’s efforts in initiatives such as the installation of solar panels in its production centre, obtaining the Certificate of Guarantee of Origin for the use of renewable energies and the ISO 50001 certification for energy efficiency, as well as its adherence to the UN Global Compact.
‘This recognition is a reflection of the constant work we are doing to integrate sustainability into every aspect of our operations’, highlights Enrique Bellido, Quality Manager at AR Racking. In addition, EcoVadis has announced that, in collaboration with One Tree Planted, a tree will be planted on behalf of AR Racking, as part of its commitment to global reforestation.
