BIND presents the latest technological innovations in the industry at Demo Day 2024 on 27 June

BIND Demo Day has become the event of reference for startups, innovation experts, investors, entrepreneurship and innovation agents.

The annual event for open innovation will bring together more than 500 attendees at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao.

This year, more than 30 disruptive projects developed by startups participating in the smart industry platform initiatives will be presented.

The event will feature a presentation by Carlota Mateos, visionary, entrepreneur and founder of Rusticae.

The Smart Industry open innovation platform, BIND, is holding its annual Demo Day 2024 event on 27 June at the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao. This edition is characterised by the prominence of the technological solutions that are shaping the future of industry and public companies in the Basque Country. The event will present more than 30 disruptive projects developed by more than 25 startups participating in BIND initiatives, in collaboration with large companies, SMEs and public companies.

The BIND Demo Day has become the event of reference for startups, innovation experts, investors, as well as entrepreneurship and innovation agents, as it brings together around 500 attendees every year. This latest meeting will present the technologies that are being successfully applied in real innovation projects to accelerate the digital transformation of companies, SMEs and public companies. Specifically, one of the three BIND initiatives is BIND GovTech, aimed at connecting public companies with disruptive startups which, after two editions with great participation, will have its own parallel session this year, where the latest trends in the ecosystem and their success stories will be presented.

The 8th edition of BIND Demo Day will also feature the participation of Carlota Mateos, founder of Rusticae, mentor and benchmark of entrepreneurship as keynote speaker at this meeting that will revolve around innovation, the challenges of digitisation and entrepreneurship. In addition, you can enjoy a day of networking with key agents of entrepreneurship and innovation in the Basque Country.

BIND is the public-private open innovation platform created by the Basque Government and its Department of Economic Development, Sustainability and Environment through the SPRI Group. Its aim is to connect disruptive startups with large companies, SMEs and public companies with its three initiatives: BIND, BIND SME and GovTech. Since it began its activity in 2016, it has already accelerated more than 230 startups and developed more than 320 projects, with a turnover of more than 9 million euros. The platform has positioned itself as a benchmark in the sector for its support for the digitisation of industry and the business fabric.
