Bizkaia Euskaltel Digital Center Boosts Digital Skills Development with 46 Workshops and a New Autumn Programme
The new training programme gets underway this week and includes an initial offering of 46 workshops, providing more than 220 hours of training for participants of all skill levels.
The centre, which has already trained nearly 800 people, will strengthen its provision between September and November with courses in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, programming, 3D design and printing, and digital manufacturing.
Bizkaia Euskaltel Digital Center, the pioneering digital skills training centre promoted by Euskaltel Fundazioa and the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, is entering the autumn season with an expanded programme following its first months of operation. Since opening in June, with the launch of technology camps and its first training activities open to the public, the centre has developed an extensive offering that will be further expanded over the coming months through 46 workshops, equivalent to 220 hours of training, including 34 introductory-level workshops and 12 intermediate-level courses.
The training programme offered by Bizkaia Euskaltel Digital Center is designed for a wide range of participants. Its content focuses on helping individuals acquire new digital skills, specialise in specific technological fields, or gain digital competencies for personal interest and development.
The programme includes workshops on artificial intelligence, prompt engineering, local chatbots, AI-powered web application development, Blender, Unreal Engine, Unity 3D, laser cutting and 3D scanning, as well as training in digital manufacturing and programming.

Commitment to Training and Professional Development
The training programme stands out for its dynamic nature and has been designed to evolve continuously in response to emerging needs within the digital landscape. While course content and activities will be updated regularly, the centre’s core objective remains unchanged since its launch: to make digital skills accessible to all citizens.
By July, just two months after opening its doors, nearly 800 people had already participated in the various activities organised by Bizkaia Euskaltel Digital Center.
One example of the centre’s practical approach is the first edition of its Fibre Optic Installation Technician training programme, which enabled participants to undertake professional placements and enter the labour market immediately after completing the course. A new edition of the programme will begin on 7 October, once again including a commitment to workplace placements.
In addition, Bizkaia Euskaltel Digital Center is already working on the introduction of new learning formats, including Labs: experimental spaces designed to support the development of practical projects through expert guidance and personalised mentoring. This initiative will be complemented by a programme of events, workshops and networking sessions linked to the wider technology ecosystem.
