Cegasa inaugurates its new innovation centre in the Álava Technology Park
The new facilities have an integrated laboratory for testing, safety tests and prototypes
The company Cegasa has launched its new commitment to R&D&I at its headquarters in the Álava Technology Park. A leader in energy transformation, Cegasa is the only company in Spain producing lithium and zinc solutions.
From these new facilities, Cegasa takes a new big step forward in innovation, reinforcing one of the keys to its worldwide success, as for more than 20 years it has been working on the development of lithium cells and solutions, among other major advances in the energy sector, which has enabled it to become a world leader.
In the new centre, Cegasa will develop projects of different kinds together with its customers, as well as with leading energy centres such as CIC energiGUNE, also based in the Álava Park, and universities.
Artificial intelligence and the digital transformation of energy companies will be just some of the many projects that will be carried out in the laboratory, as well as continuing to work on the development of smart batteries, among others.
It should be noted that, with this start-up, Cegasa has facilities of these characteristics that are unique in Europe.
